Hello! My name is Danae and I’ve been passionate about taking pictures and making films for around 15 years now.

It started when I got my first point and shoot as a gift when I was 11 (most excitingly it was water proof) – and I haven’t looked back since. 

Between 2020-2022 I exclusively worked with film cameras and have been collecting them ever since. This gave me a far deeper understanding of the inner workings of a camera and ultimately, a greater appreciation for the art of photography. I still love taking pictures on film and you’ll often find me with a minimum of two cameras in my bag. 

I completed a specialised degree in Film Production and graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2023. 

I have since begun to build my life in London, England while continuing to grow and learn within my film, photography and creativity.
